Conditions of participation TT-Line photo competition 

1. Any natural person of legal age with full legal capacity may participate.
2. Participation on behalf of third parties is not permitted.
3. If a participating person provides inaccurate or false personal information or submits unwanted photos, the organizer reserves the right to exclude them from the photo competition without giving reasons and without notification.
4. By participating, the participant accepts the conditions of participation and TT-Line's privacy policy, which can be viewed on the data protection page.
5. The participant declares that he/she understands and acknowledges that external social media platforms used for the photo competition, in particular Facebook and Instagram, do not sponsor, support or organize this photo competition and are in no way associated with it.
6. In addition, the terms of use of the respective external social media platforms apply. 

3. Competition rules and procedure 

1. The photo competition starts on 27.03.2025 at 13:00 and ends on 20.04.2025 at 23:59.
2. The photo competition consists of submitting your own photo depicting the Swedish landscape/Swedish nature/Swedish cities without recognizable people.
    
   1. The competition entry is a photo showing the Swedish landscape/swedish nature/Swedish cities. 
   2. Each participating person can submit a maximum of one photo.
   3. The photos must be submitted in digital format (JPEG) and with a maximum file size of at least 20 - 50 MB and 200 - 300 dpi.
   4. Photos may not contain any watermarks, names, logos or similar.
   5. The photo must not infringe any third-party image rights.
   6. The photo must have been taken by the participant him/herself. They must hold the full rights to the photo. 
   7. The motifs depicted in the works must not violate any legal regulations.
   8. If recognizable persons can be seen in the photo, the participant must obtain their written consent for publication as part of this project. 
   9. The photo must not contain any obscene, pornographic, violent, discriminatory, offensive or otherwise illegal content. 
   10. Photos with illegal content will not be published and will be removed by the organizer without explanation. 
3. Photos must be submitted via the competition form on the organizer's website: Photo competition page. Participation requires acceptance of the conditions of participation and consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with the GDPR.
4. By participating in the competition, the participating person and the organizer conclude a contract that comes into force by accepting the conditions of participation and submitting a photo. 
5. The organizer reserves the right to review all photos and reject photos that do not meet the competition requirements. After a positive review, the photos will be published on the photo competition page. 

4. Copyrights

1. By participating in the competition, the participant grants the organizer a worldwide license to use the photos for marketing and PR purposes for an unlimited period of time. 
2. This includes publication in digital and printed media as well as editing and adaptation of the photos. The photos may also be presented on board the TT-Line Sweden ferries. 
3. The participating person warrants that he/she owns the unrestricted copyright to the photo and does not infringe any third-party rights. 
4. If third parties assert claims against the organizer due to an infringement of rights, the participant shall indemnify the organizer against all associated costs. 
5. The organizer accepts no liability for any legal disputes that may arise from the use of the submitted photo material. The participant shall indemnify the organizer against all third-party claims arising in connection with the use of the photo. 

5. The winning photos will be announced on the competition page by 17:00 on 24.04.2025.

1. Awarding of prizes: The published photos will be printed out and displayed on board our TT-Line Sweden ferries for an indefinite period of time. In addition, the participating person will be mentioned by name on the submitted photo (bottom right). 
2. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be paid out in cash. 
3. The organizer reserves the right not to select a winner if no suitable photos are submitted. 

6. Data protection 

1. By participating, the participating person consents to the processing of their personal data in accordance with the GDPR. 
2. The organizer processes the personal data of the participating person for the purpose of organizing and conducting the competition, communicating with the participating persons, awarding prizes, processing complaints and determining or enforcing possible claims or defending against such claims. Data may also be processed for marketing purposes if the participant gives their separate consent. 
3. The organizer shall take all necessary technical and organizational measures to protect the participant's personal data from unauthorized access, loss or destruction. This includes measures such as encryption and secure data transfer procedures. 
4. Participants have the right to view, correct and delete their data.
5. Personal data will only be stored for as long as is necessary to carry out the competition. 
6. Participants have the right to withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal data at any time. The revocation can be sent by e-mail to info@ttline.com. The revocation has no effect on the legality of the processing carried out until the revocation. 
7. The participating person has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority if they believe that their personal data has been processed unlawfully. 

7. Final provisions 

1. The organizer reserves the right to change the conditions of participation, in particular with regard to the course of the competition or the prizes.
2. Changes will be announced on the competition page. 
3. By submitting a photo, the participant accepts the conditions of participation in their current version. 
4. Should any provision of these conditions of participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
