Pioneers in environmental protection at sea and in ports

Environmental responsibility is a requirement that TT-Line pursues rigorously in its strategy as a modern service undertaking. For a shipping company, environmental protection is a many-sided task ranging from new technologies to more effective waste separation. Our objectives in this area are lower emissions and the sparing use of natural resources.

The construction of the green ships Nils Dacke and Robin Hood in 1995 was the first major step towards making TT-Line an environmentally friendly shipping company. The company has enhanced and implemented this concept rigorously with its new ships Nils Holgersson (VI) and Peter Pan (V).

With the introduction of the Green Bridge Concept as of January 2008, TT-Line has taken far-reaching measures greatly exceeding the legal standards to further reduce their fleet’s ship emissions.
